Look what landed on my doorstep today! The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne collection! This came out on the 26th May and I ordered it directly from Sephora. Delivery was super speedy as I only ordered on Thursday and received my package on Tuesday. Considering this order came all the way from America, I am so impressed.
Becca and Jaclyn Hill have killed it with this packaging! I was going nuts for the original champagne pop and this collection literally made me lose my mind! I am a blush girl, so I was all over this when I saw she was collaborating on a face palette. There is a gorgeous highlighter in this palette which is described as the ‘little sister’ of Champagne Pop. It is called Prosecco Pop and it has a slightly more Yellow undertone to it. It’s the same buttery formula as Champagne Pop and the whole face palette has that gorgeous silky formula that we all love.
Becca has the best highlighters and blushers because of the consistency, texture and longevity. When I use any face product by this brand, I am glowing to the Gods.
Having seen swatches of the palette all over social media, I was counting down the days to get my hands on this.
What Did I Get?
Champagne Collection Face Palette
The face palette contains 3 cheek colours and a 2 highlighters.
First Row (Blushers)
L-R: Pamplemousse, Amaretto and Rose Spritz.
Second Row (Highlighters )
L-R: Prosecco Pop and Champagne Pop.
I have to admit, I was a little worried the blush colours may not suit me or be too dark, but as you can see from the swatches they have just the right amount of colour.
Champagne Collection Eye Palette
I nearly didn’t buy this eye palette! I am so glad I did though, because these colours are just divine. Especially the highlight shade! I am all about that glow life, so I needed to own this palette even if it meant it was just for that one shade.
The colours are perfect for everyday looks, can be dressed up with a more smokey look and suit any skin tone. They feel like butter on, have zero fall out and give an effortless application.
L-R: Bordeaux, Coganc, Cordial, Champagne Toast and Chardonnay.
First Impressions on the Collection
The collection oozes luxury and you can tell it’s a high end product. The packaging is covered in Gold and White and the colours really complement one another well. What I love is that you can use the shade ‘Rose Spritz’ as a blusher topper and the highlighters can be mixed. Having seen swatches on lots of skin tones, it really does suit anyone.
In the eye palette collection, the colours work well together. You can easily use just two shades to create a whole look on your lids. There’s three strong transition colours and a lovely shade called ‘Chardonnay’ which makes the most gorgeous brow bone highlight.
The collection is currently sold out in Sephora, but it’s back on 21st June. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, so make sure you get your hands on one.
UK babes, if you don’t want to order from America, fear not, this is coming to Space NK on 21st June, so make sure you sign up to be notified!
Jaclyn Hill has hinted at more future surprises coming our way, so my bets are on another holiday collection. I really cannot wait to see what they have in store for us because I can’t fault a single Becca product. Every item I have used from them I love.
So, come on addicts – confession time, who else got one?
