Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance Palette

ABH

My second delivery of the day which also arrived yesterday – the Renaissance Palette! I had been waiting ever so impatiently for this release. Since I love Anastasia eyeshadows so much and they are hard to get here unless you order them directly from the States. When they release a palette and it comes to the UK.. Girl – you have to be quick! This palette is actually a permanent product in the line which is great news, but I just know this will sell out fast too.

The first thing I noticed is the size. It is much bigger in comparison to the previous palettes and the pans are larger too. This palette retails at £41 which is more than what I paid last time. The World Traveller and Self Made Palettes were only £29. I still think its worth the price tag as I love the formula of the eyeshadows.

First Impressions

I love the concept of this palette and the colours did actually wow me. My reasons for this is because there is a lot of variety for crease colours and this is something I struggle with in my personal kit. I am always trying to find the right crease colours for blending. I feel that this palette offers all that in one. My favourite shades are ‘Vermeer’ and ‘Primavera’ because they make amazing highlight shades. I would use these specifically on the brow bone and inner corner.

I’ve not used any primer of Fix Plus spray in these images. These swatches have been done with 1-2 swipes and you can see how pigmented they are. When I first swatched the pans, I immediately noticed how creamy the eyeshadows were – I think they will be very easy to work with and will require minimal blending.

I am really excited to use this palette tomorrow. I will post some looks up for you all <3 Generally I am warm toned and I think this palette will be perfect for my skin tone.

I have a penchant for collecting all things Anastasia. Here is just some of my collection:

I can never fault this brand because I have loved everything I have used so far. If you don’t own anything from Anastasia, then this palette is a great starter.

Here is my full order from Beauty Bay, they were super quick with delivery. I received my items the following day!

I too am in love with this palette, haven’t had a chance to play with mine. The swatches look very pigmented. Great post.
