Yesterday evening I was invited to come celebrate the launch of the new MAC Trolls collection at Carnaby Street in London. It’s always so much fun when I go there, but this event was off the charts! I sound so old school saying that – speaking of which.. Trolls does bring back many great childhood memories. There is lots of nostalgia around this which many 80’s and 90’s babies can relate to.
Mac Trolls is quite a colourful and distinct collection. This is one which I chose to skip as the colours or packaging did not stand out to me (shock horror!) But for those who are a little more daring this one is for you.
I indulged in some yummy drinks and candy floss. Major throw back for me as I haven’t had candy floss in about 10 years. There was a DJ on the decks rolling out all the classics. It was a fun and inspiring event. The atmosphere was so lively and everyone wanted to get a picture with the live troll! The model had a total of about 3 wig changes and everyone had the opportunity to have a picture taken. The makeup which was troll inspired looked really good!
There was a live demo on the model and we were also able to get customised lips done up by the artists there too. It was very popular as all the artist stations were full!
The store was closed especially for the event which made it nice and intimate. Party goers were also able to purchase the collection that evening which was flying off the shelves.
I was loving the Pink lemonade – it went well with my candy floss! That was the highlight for me!
Sushi Kiss was re-promoted for the collection and it’s probably my favourite colour out of them all. If I didn’t already own this colour, I would have been tempted to buy it.
Thank you MAC for inviting me, I had so much fun!
Will you be picking anything up from this collection?
