It’s budget beauty time again! I have been in Primark hunting for the best beauty bargains, and I found so many gems!
So my last Primark haul was a pretty small one, but I popped to my local one again and saw they were now stocking most of the makeup brushes.
I have quite a few bits:
- Angled Powder Brush (doubles up as Contour Brush) – £1.50
- Blush Brush – £2.50
- Large Powder Brush – £2.50
- Powder Brush – £1.50
- Foundation Brush – £1.50
- Double Ended Concealer Brush £1.50
- 2 Texture Powder Brush – £1.50
- Rose Gold Sharpener – £1
- Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers – £1
- Aztec Nail Files – £1
- Makeup Wedges – £1
- ‘Look Beautiful’ Mirror – £1
- Hologram Nail Cutting Set – £1
- ‘A’ Initial Makeup Bag – £4
Quite a lot to take in there!
Let’s begin with the brushes. Upon first impressions, they are very sturdy and the bristles are soft too. I have been using these for a couple of weeks now and I found these to be very workable. They blend in easily with my products and for £1.50 per brush, you really cannot go wrong. I have washed these several times with no shedding whatsoever! My MAC brushes shed like crazy, but the Primark brushes do not. I am super impressed. With some budget brushes, they have this ‘scratch’ like feeling on your skin and these brushes do not have that at all. I would even put these on par with my Real Techniques brushes. Do I think these are worth it? Absolutely yes. I love that Primark beauty have expanded their range to brushes and not included a pro section. I am not keen on their makeup range (you can read my review right here) but I am loving their beauty products!
This rose gold duo really does make a cute addition to any vanity. The eyelash curlers curl my lashes well and the sharpener has a luxe type feel to it. You will know from previous posts that I have a penchant for ‘collecting’ eyelash curlers. I must have about 6 in my collection?! I really like these.
I can never have enough wedges. I always use them to bake with and alternate between that and my beauty blender. For £1, I simply had to stock up.
I didn’t really need this nail cutter set, but it was cute and only £1. The different sizes will come in handy too.
I had to save the best till last. I am obsessing over anything that has my initial on it lately, so when I found the last ‘A’ I immediately picked it up. How cute is this! I love the colour combination too.
Primark makeup is a massive no for me but I do love all their little beauty bits and accessories. Have you picked anything up from Primark Beauty recently?
*Since this post was written I have splurged massively in even more purchases so look out for part 3, 4 and 5 of my Primark beauty series!
