5 Must Have Makeup Brushes

Brushes are an essential part of any makeup routine. The products might be great, but it’s all in the application. What’s the most important tool for any woman? Makeup Brushes of course!

Here are my top 5 brushes that every makeup addict needs!

  1. Real Techniques Bold Metals 301 Flat Contour Brush, £22
  2. Morphe M705 Concealer Brush, $2.99
  3. Morphe M310 Fan Brush, £6
  4. MAC 239 Shader BrushMAC 239 Shader Brush, £21
  5. Wet N Wild Flat Top Brush, $2.99

1) Real Techniques Bold Metals Contour Brush

I have tried every single contour brush and I keep coming back to this! It gives me precision every single time. I have a contour sharp enough to kill! The square bristles makes it easy to contour and the blending technique takes all but a minute.

2) Morphe Concealer Brush

I always highlight my under eye with concealer and this brush picks up the right amount of product. It’s triangular shape ensures I get the right angles for highlighting my face.

3) Morphe Fan Brush

I LOVE this fan brush so much because it picks up enough powder to give me that ‘OTT’ highlight I love. After washing, you will notice how it ‘fans’ out and expands. The brush hairs go wild just like my highlight and the fact that the bristles are so spread out gives my highlight that bang which I need!

4) MAC 239 Shader Brush

This infamous MAC shader brush was one of the first brushes I ever bought many many years ago. I love it because it really packs on the colours on my lids especially for foiled eyeshadows and sometimes when I am being very lazy, I will use this one brush for my whole eye! It’s a magic brush – it does it all!

5) Wet N Wild Stippling Brush

This stippling brush blends my foundation quickly and doesn’t leave any marks. The bristles are so soft and amazing quality for the price your paying! I have the whole set, but reach for the face brushes daily.

Which brushes can’t you live without?
