Mr Makeup is the man behind all these amazing brands and he’s done it again. He is responsible for bringing you budget beauty WITHOUT the compromise. His latest offering is DIY palettes. I love this idea for a numerous amount of reasons and the idea behind this concept is so simple.

1. Pick your palette (choose from a 6 or 12 pan)
2. Choose from eyeshadows, blushers, contour powders or highlighters
3. Clip the pans into the palette
4. Palette complete

Simple!

You can choose from the following palettes:

  • 12 Pan Palette White
  • 12 Pan Palette Black
  • 12 Pan Palette Silver
  • 12 Pan Palette Rose Gold
  • 6 Pan Palette Pink
  • 6 Pan Palette Gold

There is a colour to suit every personality and the combinations are endless. You are not limited either and can mix and match the palette into one. So in one palette, you could have one row just for eyes, one for blushers, one for contouring.

You know I love to glow so the first 2 palettes I designed were a highlighting palette and the other a neutral eyeshadow palette and I am OBSESSED as the name suggests.

I attended the launch of the brand and was lucky enough to be able to create my third palette there which was the Blush one.

The pans are quite large and they each come stamped with a star design which is very pleasing to the eye.

The prices are extremely reasonable – you are looking at £2 per pan for an eyeshadow and £3 per pan for contour, highlight and blush shades.

My Choices

  • Eyeshadow Palette, neutral
  • Blusher Palette, mixed
  • Highlighting Palette, powders

Eyeshadow Palette, Neutral:

Natural Daylight swatches:

6The first palette I created was quite a neutral, wearable one and I wanted a mixture of mattes and shimmers to create dramatic cut creases and also wearable looks. The colours are all buildable and a touch of fix spray enhances the colours even more. I love warn copper colour tones and I’m so happy with these colour choices.

Blusher Palette, Mixed:

I love my Pinks as blushers and these colours do not disappoint. The blushers are probably the most pigmented long lasting.

Highlighting Palette, Powders:

Texture/Formula

The texture is very workable and can be build up to intensify using Fix Plus. The highlighters are the star of the show for me. They are exceptional value for money and give that high shine glow. The eyeshadows blend very well and I’m obsessed with my neutrals palette! I did experience a little fall out from the eye shades, but that’s no bother to me. I find the blushers to be extremely pigmented in colour and all in all, I am happy with the formula of each palette.

I am so glad this brand has launched because it gives us junkies the creativity to be free and go wild with colour choices. The amount of looks you can create is insane.

You can make your own palette right here.

I would love to see the palettes you create!
