Following on from my American Sephora haul, I also got sent the much sought after ‘Loreal Pro Glow’ foundation. Everyone whose anyone has been raving about these foundations like there’s no tomorrow, so of course, me being me – I had to jump on the bandwagon.
This foundation is all about promoting that glow and dewy finish. This is great for people with dry skin, however mine is very oily. So as much as I wanted to try this, I was also worried about the effect it would have on my skin. It was absolutely fine and I loved it! I just made sure to set my foundation with an even amount of powder.
My skin didn’t even break out, which I was worried about and the foundation lasted all day.
This isn’t available to purchase in the UK yet – I believe we won’t be getting it for another year or so, but you can order this directly from the States through WALMART or TARGET.
This has been likened to high end foundations too and that’s a game changer for me because most drugstore foundations never work on my skin. I have to say – L’oreal have done well with their infallible range though as I love the infallible matte and now I can add the pro glow to it too.
I will re-purchase this, because I am impressed with it. My first impressions when I used this was ‘HOLY MOLY look at my face!’ I was so wowed by the coverage and finish.
The foundation offers medium coverage which is buildable and the texture is quite light. It promotes an all day glow which promises to keep the skin hydrated all day long. It’s quite creamy on application and very easy to blend in with my blending sponge. I like the fact that it’s got SPF in it too and I would take this on holiday with me as I feel it would be perfect. As soon as I applied this to my face, it gave me instant coverage, so I do feel that one thin later is more than enough to cover any imperfections.
The 2 shades I went for was Nude Beige (203) and Buff Beige (206) I wasn’t sure which one to go for because I couldn’t swatch it myself in store, so I felt the best option was to choose 2 just to be on the safe side. I know a few people who ordered from America also did the same. The beauty of liquid foundations is that you can mix them too, so I wasn’t too worried. I knew I could always buy the Body Shop Colour Drops to match the colour for me. Nude Beige actually ended up being a better match on me. Buff Beige is too dark, so I will be mixing that.
Have you tried this before? Do you love it?
