Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit

The current lip kit trend continues and this time it’s Barry M who have recently launched 3 new shades. The sad thing is, they are limited edition so I would advise you to be super quick as I can see these selling out fast! In fact they have already sold out at Superdrug! Priced at ONLY Β£6.99 these rival the Kylie Lip Kits in every form.

So – let’s get to it..

The three colours available are:

  • Pose Pink
  • Go To Nude
  • Runway Berry

What You Get

  • 1 x Lip Liner
  • 1 x Matte Liquid Lipstick

As with any conventional lip kit, you will always get these 2 products in one kit as standard.

I love love LOVE these shades and I’m really sad they only made 3 colours. I hope they expand the colour range in the future and make this line permanent!

L-R: Go To, Pose and Runway.

L-R: Go To, Pose and Runway.

L-R: Go To, Pose and Runway.

Pose and Runway.

You can straight away tell these are 100% colour dupes for Kylie. Pose mimics Koko K in every way possible, Go To Nude Dolce and Runway Berry is a dupe for Kristen. I am obsessed with the colour selection. I just wish the tubes were bigger, but you get what you pay for and this is a bargain!

I can quite confidently say that these lips kits are 100% Kylie dupes. They are lightweight, matte, non drying and best of all not sticky. These are a STEAL and this is probably one of my best buys of 2017 so far and if you love matte lips – you NEED these in your life ASAP! I don’t think I’ve raved about a product as much as I have this. They dry matte, are super quick and easy to apply with a doe foot applicator. The shape of the applicator means that the perfect amount of product is picked up and can be applied to the lips so you don’t waste any.

The lip liner formula is nothing like Kylie’s, however it is very easy and smooth to apply. I line my entire lips and fill them with the liner colour and then go over it with the liquid lipstick.

I had my lip kit on 14 hours and topped up once. There was no transfer, no stickiness and overall I’m VERY happy with this. It’s a 10/10 from me! I ate two meals, drank loads and not once did this formula come off! There was no feathering or dryness either. In fact, I forgot I even had this on most of the day. That’s how light it was!

These have already launched and sold out in Superdrug, but fear not – these are also launching on 15th Feb at Boots. I would advise purchase on launch day, because judging by how quick Superdrug sold out, I can quite confidently say that Boots will too!

You can purchase right here and here.

I hope you enjoyed my review!

It really is, and I have awful dry lips so for this to work and not crumble off after a few hours is a massive achievement for me, so happy 😘x

They are all stunning colours and I’m so fussy with my liquid lipsticks so good to hear theyre long lasting and not drying. High street are upping their game when it comes to liquid lipsticks! The liners are such a bonus!

I feel that Barry M are such an underrated beauty brand. I read so much about their nail polishes but hardly anything about their makeup and I really like it. These are amazing dupes.

These sound amazing, I love when there are good dupes of more expensive products and these shades look amazing!

    Hey there Annie !
Runway is the one that I’m most attracted to, I can’t wait to come back to London to be able to get some more of these lippies ! So far I’ve only got Pop Up from the lippies that are on their own and it’s super pigmented and glides so easily on the lips… Didn’t know Barry M before that but I will have to see more of their makeup in the near future ! πŸ˜€

    Have a nice day !

Thank you for comment and for reading! Barry M is a really good affordable British drugstore brand and their liquid lipsticks are so good! I really love the formula and consistency. Since I’ve written this review they have bought some new colours out which I am looking forward to trying xxx
