It’s time to update the Top 5 palettes post since I have some new ones which have taken over my life. I go all out with my eye looks at the weekend, and here are my favourite 5 which I simply cannot live without! If you are a true makeup junkie, I’m sure you’ll already own these.
1. Tarte | Tartelette in Bloom Palette
This is quite possibly the holy grail for crease colours. I am in love with the pigmentation and how long lasting the shades are. Application is a dream as minimal blending is required. This was one of my best purchases of 2016! You can buy this right here.
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills | Master Palette By Mario
I didn’t realise how much I would love this palette until it was gifted to me. As soon as I swatched it, I was in awe. Claudia has got to be one of my favourite shades and although at first, I wasn’t blown away by the colour combination in this palette, it’s now a firm favourite. Unfortunately this is totally sold out and out of stock. If you were lucky enough to get your hands on it – well done!
3. Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette
Okay, so I’ve had a love/hate relationship with this palette. When I first got it, I wasn’t overly keen in my review. Now I love it. It works really well with my ABH modern Renaissance palette too and the foils are life now that they apply easily! The matte colours are so bomb especially when mixed with Fix Plus to intensify the colour. You can buy this right here.
4. Morphe 35o
I couldn’t do a post about palettes and not mention Morphe’s most sought after palette. This one always sells out within minutes because of it’s colour selection. The shimmers are my favourite and I think this palette is perfect for creating that halo eye look with. It’s a classic because you can transition from day to night. This palette keeps coming back into stock periodically. You can join the wait list right here.
5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
Notice how this is the second ABH palette in the list? The formula of these eye shadows is unreal – they are so long lasting and the deep Reds are so luscious for creating those va va voom cut crease looks. If I was only allowed to have one palette for the rest of my life – it would be this one. I come back to this time and time again and find myself reaching for it even when using other palettes. I loved it in my review! Anastasia has nailed it with her eye shadow formula because its smooth like butter! You can buy this right here.
These are my current must haves for eye shadows! Which ones are you loving?
