MUA Luxe Shimmer Sheets

If someone told me a few years ago I could glow on the go, I never would have believed them. The age in which we live in these days, anything is possible.

For once, we have a UK only exclusive (sorry America!) MUA have introduced luxuriously lightweight highlight shimmer sheets. These are a steal for only £3 and you get to glow on the go!

MUA Luxe Shimmer Sheets

This latest invention has gone viral, the internet is going crazy for it.

What Is It?

In a nutshell, you get a book full of metallic sheets, which when applied to the face or skin are highlighters. After you are done, just throw the used sheet away. Don’t get these mixed with blotting tissues – these are not to remove the shine, but give you glow.

How To Use

Tear off a sheet and you can swipe or lightly dust these over the face or body and see the sparkle!

This is something I am obsessing over especially since Summer is creeping up and I can see this being perfect for a holiday or weekend away. It’s simply no fuss, no hassle.

There are two shades available:

  • Rose Gold
  • White Gold

Rose gold came up quite Orange against my skin tone, and I would be likely to mix this with another more golder toned highlight. On the plus side, this colour would be perfect for darker tones. I am gravitating more towards the White Gold.

For an amplified glow, I recommend spritzing your face with Fix Plus prior to use. What I love is that you can top these up throughout the day and it’s so compact you can even carry it in your pocket.

Get ready to glow all Summer long babes!

Get yours right here.

That’s so innovative! I totally didn’t pay much attention to these when I seen them. I love the look of white gold. Rose gold would be way too dark for me x

Rose gold is more suited to darker skin tones. It’s a fun idea though xx

I know what you mean! It takes a while to get use to. But it’s probably best for the beach or a holiday away for a quick top up. Thanks for reading xx

An interesting concept but I think maybe a little gimmicky?! I think I’ll stick to my normal highlighters ha ha – I’m sure some people will love this though x

This is a cool idea! The rose gold one makes me nervous as it’s so dark but I think the paler shade would work well for me. X

Fab idea, especially for summer festivals and glamping! I love the white gold one, I prefer a more subtle glow that’s for sure!
