If like me, you have been impatiently awaiting the release of this palette at Debenhams, well the wait is over! A few weeks ago, this stunning palette was released online and I jumped at the chance to buy it because I sadly missed the last amazing holiday palette she released and I was very upset about it! (Mi Vida Loca Remix, right here)
The Pastel Goth is a collection of 8 matte highly pigmented pastel shades which are perfect to create the ‘rainbow’ trend look with, or to simply splash your lids with pops of colour.
I’ve never tried the KVD formula, but I had high hopes since everyone raves about it. Now typically, these aren’t the kind of shades I would wear, but since it’s almost Summer, why the heck not.
As soon as I opened the package, I already knew what type of look I would want to create and which colours were my favourite.
To help you decide if this palette is for you, take a look at these colourful swatches:
If you are worried about the colours being chalky, don’t. They are so pigmented and bright!
The great thing is, you can use the shades wet to apply as a liner (under eye or on the lid) and the pay off is pretty good.
I feel like a fully fledged mermaid now! Sadly, it’s now sold out at Debenhams online, and at the time of writing this review, it appears to be sold at Sephora too, but I shall update this if it comes back into stock.
