How exciting is this new range from my favourite skincare brand! Yes, you read that right – NIP+FAB have launched a range of makeup! I am a HUGE fan of their skincare and I use the Dragon’s blood range religiously. So when I heard they were launching this new line, I was thrilled to try it.
There is quite a lot in the range, but I have a few picks for you which are very good starters.
- Colour Correctors, £8.95
- Eyeshadow Palette 01 Sculpted, £10.95
- Contour Palette Light, £15
- Liquid Lipstick, £7.95
- Liquid Lipstick, £7.95
The first thing that draws me is the very affordable price point. This is drugstore makeup but without compromising on the quality. There is a good selection of colours across the eyeshadow palette, and they have catered for all skin types with the contour palette.
When I swatched all the colours, I was surprised at how pigmented and bright all the colours were, especially the colour correctors. You really don’t need much product and I love the applicator for ease as you can dictate exactly how much you want to use. I use a pea sized amount on my mixing palette and I find that more than enough. If you use too much product, then the colour corrector will show through your base.
Sleek, compact and the standard contour palette shape. This is perfect for travel, makeup kits and addicts. The first time I used this, I under estimated the colour pay off on my cheeks and I was seriously surprised at how much came off! You only need to dip your brush in a little and I found the blending quite easy too.
There is a large selection of nude shades to choose from and I did find some of the colours, when swatched to be a little off (Candy and Tart in particular) They reminded me of concealer colours and I would recommend layering them. The two I have swatched for you below are Spice and Biscuit.
Nudes are THE in thing right now. This is pretty much is a must have for every makeup junkie because it contains a selection of mattes and shimmers to create a smokey or daytime look. There are some key colours right here which will see you through every season and can be worn daily. I didn’t find any fall out with these and the quality was great to work with. I like using the darker mattes especially to blend my cut crease in with.
You can purchase the full range right here from Superdrug.
What will you be trying?
