Urban Decay Rehab Makeup Prep

I’m very excited to report Urban Decay have ventured into skincare! I saw this coming a mile off, but it’s great for the brand because they are widely expanding their line. Before makeup application, prepping our skin is an absolute must and Urban Decay have created a range just for that.

  • Hot Springs Hydrating Gel
  • Lip Love Lip Balm
  • Pore Refining Peel
  • Melt Down Makeup Remover

Hot Springs Hydrating Gel

This clever gel acts as a barrier with the makeup. It’s extremely lightweight and has a slippery texture to it, giving a wet feeling. The formula is totally non greasy and it sunk into my skin straight away to reveal a soft and plump base. I really like the texture it left too.

Ingredients include:

  • Water from hot springs (rich in skin nourishment)
  • Encapsulated water gel
  • Hypotonic water

My makeup applied effortlessly when this is used a base in place of a primer.

Lip Love Lip Balm

This lip balm ensures your lipstick applies effortlessly and it gives an instant softening effect. The coconut mint flavour is seriously so good and VERY addictive. My lips feel hydrated and really smooth. The gorgeous mix of coconut oil and shea butter is divine and this is probably my favourite out of the whole range. I like to use this morning and evening.

Pore Refining Peel

I suffer from open pores badly, so I was intrigued to try this to see if it did really work. Described as a ‘vacuum for your pores’ This mask works a peel off and removes any impurities.

Ingredients include:

  • Sugarcane extract
  • Irish moss
  • Common St  Johns wort
  • Burdock Root Extract
  • Peppermint extract
  • Lemon balm

I apply this to my t zone to reveal all the grossness and it’s quite satisfying to see actually! I think you will all agree with me on that! My pores felt tighter and my t zone felt matte.

Melt Down Makeup Remover

The genuis spray dissolves right into the face removing any traces of makeup. It works deep into the skin so you don’t need to vigourously remove any tarces. I tried to remove my waterproof mascara with this too and it worked! The Vitamin E in the spay nourishes skin at the same time.

Quite an attractive list for a makeup brand right? I know, I was impressed also. The Urban Decay Makeup Prep Rehab is available to buy right here.
