I get very excited about a new beauty gadget. Following on from my last post about sponges, you will know how obsessed I am. I use my sponges for blending, foundation, baking – you name it! Storage for these can be tricky because what to do when your drying the sponge? You invest in The Spongedry of course! This is a new innovative way to store your wet sponges without losing them.
What You Get
- Pouch to store holder in
How It Works
The holder is designed to store your makeup sponge in when drying or when not in use. If you are travelling, then you can store your holder in the handy pouch it comes with, which takes up minimum room.
If like me, you love bright colours, the spongedry is available in a variety of colour combinations to brighten up your vanity. I of course, opted for the Purple/Pink combination, but you can select from Black, White, Pink and Purple in any of those combinations for the holder and sponge. I love that you can mix and match your own set too. It makes it more personalised and fun.

What Makes It So Different?
The sponge has a teardrop style shape which has a flat side and a pointy tip. The material of the sponge is highly comparable to the Beauty Blender? Why? The material is porous which means it blends easily and dries super quick too. It has a bouncy texture which makes makeup application so easy and quick.
This sponge is an all rounder for me because it blends my concealer in so well, it has a big area for blending my foundation and I even use the flat side of the sponge to bake my under eyes and sharpen my contour. It’s perfect and I really enjoy using it. The flat pointed tip means you can get right into the under eye and blend the concealer fully without missing a section.
