Tarte is a brand that I feel really understands my makeup needs. They capture my inner child and basically produce the most amazing collections ever. I won’t bore you too much with this story, but I did search about 6 different Sephora’s before getting my hands on the Tarte unicorn brushes. They were sold out everywhere for weeks, and I was on holiday for a long time. So my disappointment to find they were sold out practically everywhere, nearly had me in tears. Those tears quickly vanished though and voila, I found the last set in Sephora!
You’ll know from my Instagram how obsessed I am with Unicorns, pretty much anything to do with them and I’m there.
So, of course I had to pick up a few pieces from this stunning collection. The last Tarte post I did actually featured two of the products from this range (liquid highlighter and mascara)
I saved the best for last and simply had to get this gorgeous cheek and eye palette. This is by far the most shimmery, shiny and glittery palette I have owned and the packaging is obviously life!
I love the intensity of every colour in the palette and how it just gleams when it hits the light. Simply stunning!
*Jaw drops* Aren’t they so gorgeous? I love the multi coloured bristles too which just reminds me of rainbows! The packaging is quite something too and the brushes come wrapped in unicorn tissue paper!! If you see these back in stock, buy them straight away! I believe they sold out in record time at QVC UK. At the time of publishing, the set was still available on Tarte online.
Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter
I love how easy this is to blend and apply. Wear it over foundation/under or just wear it alone. The liquid gives a subtle glow and of course the packaging is just super cute. Read more about it here.
I firmyl admit I only bought this because of the packaging. Yes, I’m a sucker for it, but I do also love using this mascara, so that’s a bonus. No, I won’t be throwing this away when I’m done with it either..
This collection is a must have if you love unicorns and if you’re an avid collector. I think that Tarte makeup generally is amazing quality and the colours always have great pay off, so for me, there was no question about me not buying this set.
Did you buy anything from this collection?
