I fully embrace hair accessories since my hair is a hot curly mess 80% of the time. My glam 20% comes out to play at the weekend. For a woman, keeping her hair in place is key and the last thing we want is hair out of place.
Scunci have a range of fun and simple hair accessories to help you maintain your style I have five key pieces to share with I think are a staple for anyone.
Now, if like me, you live in a bun, bobby pins are basically vital. These are different because they come with a non slip coating which means your pins won’t be flying all over the place. I go through about 3-4 packs every few months because I am forever losing them. No hair style is complete without them and I love these because they are sturdy and just stay in place. The neutral dark colour gives extra hold and disguises right into the hair (especially if you have brown hair!) They promote ‘no slip, no grip’ and this is definitely the case with these.
Clear Hair Ties
Another item I can/t live without – hair ties. My bun just won’t hold with a clip. The clear see through band makes for easy use and doesn’t snap. I have quite thick curly hair and this stays all day long. Many other hair ties simply snap.
I’m talking to you makeup junkies out there. These flexi bands are perfect for holding your hair back whist doing your makeup. The cornrow design ensures any stray hairs are kept fully away from the face. You can work that canvas perfect and slay your makeup!
Something for the Kids…
Coloured Hair Ties
If you have young daughters, nieces, cousins or sisters then these fun rainbow bands are perfect for creating a hair do. They come in a variety of colours and of course standard Black too. The elastics d no damage the hair and give a perfect hold.
These clips are great for curls and twists in hair and would look so cute at a party. Equally suitable for adults, but I think these are good to use on youngsters.
Scunci have a whole range of hair accessories and you can buy yours right here.
