Max Factor Influenster VoxBox

Influenster has finally arrived in the UK! If you’re wondering what the heck I’m talking about, then allow me to explain.

Influenster is a community of bloggers who share their reviews online about literally anything. Being a beauty blogger, they very kindly sent me their first Voxbox partnered with Max Factor. As an influencer, I get to test products for free.

I was rather excited about this box because I was planning on purchasing a red lipstick and when I saw the contents of my box, I squeeled. I did a rather un-blogger thing though and butchered my lipstick before I had a chance to take pictures. I was on my way out and the box had just arrived! Bad blogger I know.

Universal Lip Liner

Influenster Max Factor (20)

I’ll be totally honest – I had never heard of this before and wasn’t quite sure how this was going to work.. but it did! Described as a ‘lip hack’ this lip liner can be used with any colour lip product because it helps to shape and hold the colour in place. The beauty is that it works on all skin tones and prolongs the colour too. There was no bleeding or messiness and it worked quite well actually. The universal lier almost acts as a primer and prepares the lips before you apply the desired colour.

Colour Elixir Lipstick ‘Chilli’

The lipstick and lip lacquer compliment each other very well. The lipstick felt soft and smooth on, it applied very easy and it gave a good amount of pay off. Usually with drugtore lipsticks you don’t expect the pigmentation to be amazing, but Chilli did give me volumptous lips! There is Vitamin E in the formula which contributes to the softness and this is  plus for me.

Honey Lacquer ‘Floral Ruby’

The best way, in my opinion to finish off a look is to top it with gloss or a lacquer to give a high shine finish. This enures plumpness and maks the lips look fuller. Floral Ruby was just a dream to apply. The doe foot applicator gave me the perfect precision finish to top off my look and I was very pleased with it.

Upon completely my look, I made the faux pas of applying a little too much lip lacquer (don’t ask why) and I had to quickly tone it down before heading out the door. I used one of the shades from my Kylie KKW collection to do this and here is how the end result ended up looking:

I really enjoyed testing my Influenster Voxbox this month and think it’s a great service for people to check product reviews online.

Have you tried anything from Max Factor before?

I signed up for this or began to but couldn’t remember why I didn’t go through with it, looks good though?

I’ve had a similar invisible lip liner from UD before (obvs) and remember how cool it was, nice to see this affordable alternative πŸ˜ƒ

I signed up for this on Sunday and they emailed me Monday about the box, how exciting, although I wasn’t really sure what I was doing ha ha. I love the shade of lipstick and gloss you got, I have a transparent liner from Rimmel and it’s so handy to use with lipsticks that usually bleed to stop it xxxx
