Lee Stafford No Strings Attached Cordless Ceramic Hair Straightener

Lee Stafford Cordless Hair Straightener

A pink cordless hair straightener? Yes, I’ll take that please! Lee Stafford are literally slaying the hair game right now. I’m a big fan right here. There’s a few ways to use this and you must know now that I love double duty products – this does just that. You curl or straighten the hair and best of all there’s no annoying cord hanging off. You have the option to use it with a cord too, but if you’re on the go or simply in a hurry and multi tasking, then it’s a good option.

What I like about this is, it doesn’t just come with the straightener. There’s a few things to make this easy to use.

Contents

  • Cable
  • Straighteners
  • Black Heating Mat
  • Pink Heating Base
  • Carry Case

The heating mat is a god send, as we all know, how dangerous it can be using hot hair styling products. The amount of times I’ve burnt my bed sheets! I like to store my straightener in the carry case when it’s not being used.

Information

  • Comes with a 2 year warranty
  • British home grown brand
  • Comes with a cute storage bag and heat protection mat (obvs with Pink)
  • Rubberised material to allow for easy grip
  • Comes with a port to house the straighter on to allow it to heat up
  • Retains heat for 15 minutes (based on thin, fine hair)
  • Tourmaline Ceramic coated plates generate an anti frizz finish

Touching on some of these points, I find the rubber material so easy to grip my hair with and it allows for fuss free styling. This is also great to use if you’re in a hurry, because you don’t need to mess around with wires. One point to note is that in between styling your hair, you will need to place the straightener back onto the heating base. This is not a qualm for me, because I always section and style my hair as I go along. You need to allow the straighteners to heat up again before using them. If obviously you are styling your hair for a much longer period of if your hair is very long and thick, then the cord will be best. The cordless option is pretty good on short fine hair or for very quick styling.

Due to the weight of the product and with the amount of components it comes with, I wouldn’t recommend this for travelling. It’s far too heavy and best used for styling at home. It’s a great little device to have at home and I think it looks very professional.

If like me, when you’re at home, you try and do a million things at once, the cordless option will not restrict you and you’re free to walk around and do your hair. I never sit still!

I’m obviously attracted to this because it’s Pink, but just because it looks good, does it actually do the job? The answer is yes, it does. My hair is quite thick, in fact it’s super curly, and the ceramic plates did a pretty good job of ensuring my hair had a smooth, frizz free finish. Granted, I did leave it to heat a few times in between styling my hair, but I am just one of those people who stops and walks off to do something and then complete another section. The plates did retain enough heat for my hair and a few pauses in between did me no harm.

I really like these and find them so easy to use.

I need this in my life! My GHD’s cord annoys me so much as I dont have many accessible power points in my house so this is something I would definitely make use of!
