I realise this post is very overdue, I have been meaning to share my Black Friday bargains for a few weeks now and I just didn’t get round to it. Now is as good as time as any, because let’s face it, we need to prepare ourselves for Round 2 (Boxing Day) where I’m sure some of the same offers will flag up again. Some of these items were impulse purchases purely because of the amount of savings that were being made, and others are items I had my eye on for a while.
Ok, so there was quite a few items I had my eyes on and where I can, I like to stock up on skincare and items that I use on a daily basis.I’m going to kick off with the first item which I sadly missed out on last year – I was very excited to get my hands on it.
Jouer Cosmetics Best of Nudes Lip Crème Collection
The Best of Nudes Creme Collection is always so popular for the holidays and it sells out like hot cakes. When Beauty Bay slashed their prices and had 30% off, my friend Kasie managed to log on and add one to her basket for me, so I ended up making a good saving and picking this set up for just £21! It features all of my favourite Nude shades and these are colours I wear daily, be it daytime or evening. I was super excited that it contains the much loved shade Papaye which I have been wanting to try for the longest time and I just love the colour selection. The packaging is gorgeous, featuring iridiscent specs throughout the logo and along the packaging. It makes me feel all festive and I think this set will also make the perfect present for any lip lover.
Colours as follows:
- Mini Bare: A matte warm nude fawn
- Mini Dulce de Leche: A matte cool nude
- Mini Naked: A matte cool peachy pink
- Mini Papaye: A metallic warm peach
- Mini Rayanne: A matte cool grey nude
- Mini Rosé: A cool metallic champagne mauve
- Mini Tawny Rose: A matte cool dusty mauve
- Mini Terra: A matte neutral deep ochre
Real Techniques Selfie Ready Makeup Brush Set
As you’ll know from my previous posts, I am completely obsessed with Real Techniques brushes and their holiday sets have been driving me crazy. I was literally on a mission to own them all! Superdrug had a fantastic offer which was better than half price. The original price was £65 and I picked the set up for only £30 and it contains SO much! It comes with the following:
- Duo Fiber Face Brush
- Expert Face Brush
- Eye Brush
- Base Shadow Brush
- Definer Brush
- Setting Brush
- Contour Brush
- Shading Brush
- Single Pocket Expert Organiser
Phew! So much right? I simply had to get my hand on this offer as it was too good to miss. I’ve been wanting to try the pocket organiser and I’m so glad it was featured in this set. You can stick it to any surface and it hold your brushes in place. Perfect for travelling too!
Pixi Box of Beautiful Skin
Pixi is a brand that I always rave about. I love all of their skincare, so when this set was reduced from £72 to £30, I knew I had to buy it. It’s probably my best bargain out of everything. It contains 4 full sized products – Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths, Glow Tonic, Glow Mud Cleanser, and the Peel & Polish. It comes boxed with the special holiday packaging too which I love and I had to stock up since I use the range on a daily basis. I made a total of £42 saving and was so pleased.
Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions Palette
After mulling it over for a long time, I finally caved in. Cult Beauty were offering 15% off this palette and although I was initially on the fence about it, the colours were so inviting and so me. I love the selection of mattes and shimmers and although yes he palette is quite small, you do get a good amount of product in each pan. I ended up paying around just shy of £21 or so, and I really like the quality of the matte shades by Huda. The shimmer shades which look foiled are not chunky and I’m quite pleased I picked this up.
Beauty Blender Gold Mine Set
Every year it’s my tradition to buy the Beauty Blender set and the Gold Mine set includes all of my favourites. I picked this up at Cult Beauty and got the 15% off. You get one traditional Beauty Blender in Fuchsia Pink, a Nude blender which offers a blurring airbrushed effect, Blotterazi to keep your makeup in place all day for blotting and a sponge cleaner and Liquid Blendercleanser Packette. I use my Beauty Blender everyday, so let’s face it – it was inevitable I was going to stock up!
So there you have it, some of my favourite picks from my haul. Did you grab yourself a bargain?
