Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

The £4 concealer which has taken the beauty world by storm these last few weeks! Everyone was waiting in anticipation for these concealers to drop. With over 20 shades and counting (they are about to drop even more colours) Do these really give the high end concealers a run for their money?

I could not wait to test it out for myself and let’s just say the results surprised me. I only have one drugstore concealer which I absolutely love and cannot live without, and I am pleased to be able to add the Conceal and Define concealers to this list.

I want to start by talking about the applicator – which I am totally obsessed with. It’s full on 100% coverage and it lifts and brightens my eyes. There’s a generous amount of product which comes off the doe foot applicator and one pump is enough to cover both eyes.

I’ve never owned or tried the Tarte Shape Tape concealer and I keep hearing about how it’s a dupe for it. I can’t comment on this claim, but I will say that for £4 you get amazing value for money with the size of the product and he generous applicator.

Now formula wise this is typically drier than what I would usually use and that’s totally okay with me because it sets in well. On a daily basis, my makeup stays on for well over 10 hours a day, and to see that this had not budged, moved or creased on me was just amazing. This is my new favourite drugstore concealer and I’m going to encourage you all to buy it because YES it really is that good!

Here I’ve swatched the fairest shades for you which match my skin tone and I use these shades to blend, conceal and highlight. You can even grab some of the darker shades and use them to contour with and against my skin tone, C1 was the best match for me to highlight my under eye with.

I also like to mix the concealer shades to custom make my own colour, and this is really dependant on the season too and how tanned you are at the time. I personally get great pleasure out of custom making my own shade, but it is just a personal preference really.

I am amazed at how great the coverage is, and if you’re a total concealer junkie like me, this is a must have to own!

Have you tried this before? Did you love it as much as I do?

I’m pleased you like these Annie! I didn’t find the coverage to be as full for me and they creased a lot under my eyes and looked dry 🙁
