Pro:Voke Touch of Silver Shampoo & Conditioner

Since I’ve been Blonde, I have to be very careful what I put on my hair to prevent the colour from stripping or fading. Prior to changing my hair colour, I only ever thought about using products designed for curly hair, but now I also have to take into consideration the colour.

I’ve been using a brand called Pro:Voke Touch of Silver for the last month or so and I have to say I am really pleased with the results.

What It Does

The combination, when used together actively works to neutralise yellow or brassy tones. Formulated with active Violet pigment (the shampoo and conditioner are both a Violet shade) it immediately tones and brightens your colour in just one wash. It does give you instant results and and although I am always wary about claims that products work ‘instantly’ I was very curious too. ‚ÄčTo my surprise, just after one one wash my hair was indeed much brighter and shinier.

The formula is very rich and luxurious. You only need a small amount and I like to full work it through my hair and leave it in for 5 minutes at a time before washing it out. A couple of weeks into my colour, my hair fades a little and and I simply loved how shiny and vibrant my hair looked after. You would think that my hair would be left quite dry and brittle with all that cololur, but it’s quite the opposite. It feels soft, moisturised and protected.

Here’s how my hair looked just after one wash – I have freshly dried and styled it right after using the shampoo and conditioner:

I am impressed by this duo, and if like me you have Blonde hair, it’s worth trying this combination out which is available to purchase right here.
