I’ve said it time and time again – contour is the one part of my makeup routine which is an absolute must for me. I can’t live without it and I am always looking for new products to contour with. Its fair to say I’ve tried and currently use quite a few different methods and techniques when doing so.
The Makeup Revolution HD Powder Contour has been around for a while now, but I’ve not had a chance to try it. I always like their palettes because they are affordable and good quality and when I put the Fair palette to the test, for £8 it really did not dissapoint me.
When it comes to makeup, I always like to give you a choice – a high end and budget version. This contour palette is a great everyday winner for me and for the price, you really cannot go wrong.
The pressed powder palette comes with 8 shades which are perfect to sculpt, define, highlight and set your makeup. I love powder contouring for a quick and easy everyday routine. You need to put a little extra work into a cream contour and let’s face it, who has time for that in the morning. That being said, Makeup Revolution do sell a cream contour palette which I am yet to try.
You can contour and bronze and really cater the colour to your custom needs – it could be a case of mixing the powders or simply using them alone. Either way, this is blendable, easy to use and there’s hardly any fall out (which you can sometimes expect from drugstore makeup)
In true beauty fashion – the highlight shades are perfect to set your makeup in place, highlight your cheekbones and any other areas of the face you wish to highlight, as well as brighening the under eye area (especially the yellow tone shade)
