Real Techniques is a brand I often mention on the blog. I favour the brand for their affordability as well as good quality products. There’s a selection of products from the range I have really been enjoying of late and I wanted to share them with you all.
I know, I am the biggest sucker going for packaging. Yes, the Brush Crush collection is pretty, but the tools also perform so well. I have here from L-R, the Complexion Brush, the Powder Brush and the Blush Brush. Above that is my trusty Diamond Sponge which is very similar to the sponge I reviewed a while back – except it has a Brush Crush twist to it! I am solely focused more on my base when doing my makeup, and these brushes work quite nicely into my makeup routine. I use them to set my powder, apply blusher, as well as blending and buffing out. The bristles are nicely packed and soft – they give me a flawless finish every time and I really can only say great things about this! You know I can never have enough blenders either – and I just had to add this limited edition design to my collection. The multi facets covers all angles of the face and apply my liquid foundation beautifully.
When it comes to my sponges – depending on the type of look or finish I want to opt for, I change my sponges accordingly. For a fresher dewy finish, I like to use the Mini Miracle Eraser sponge to blend out any small blemishes and of course blend out my under eye concealer. I also like to use these sponges to highlight with! Especially with liquid highlighters. The Miracle Finish Sponge is my favourite 2 in 1 sponge to apply and blend foundation with and bake. The flat surface on the top really helps me bake my under eyes and gives me the perfect amount of coverage. The Miracle Body Complexion sponge helps me with skincare and makeup application around the decolletage as it has a large area to work with.
These are my current Real Techniques favourites. What are you loving at the moment?
