Pixi Beauty | Glow in a Box

Pixi have some amazing new releases which have just launched and I’m very excited to share them with you today. Curated around the glow theme (my favourite) This summer’s newest additions are proving to be a hit as I’ve seen everyone raving about them.

Now we all know, Pixi don’t do things by halves. Their PR packages are the most enviable and this one is no exception. It was literally a case of glow in a box, and I couldn’t be more grateful for receiving it because I am a HUGE Pixi fan!

I am a sucker for a highlight, and these double duos are literally holiday glow in a palette. I like the idea of mixing and customising my shades and this is ideal. You get 2 powder highlights in a palette and each colour compliments the other really well. The formula is silky and smooth and applies evenly to give a glowing finish. Each palette retails at £20, which works out to be £10 per pan. I get very excited over a new highlight release and this one is no exception. You can purchase these gorgeous duos over at Pixi, M&S and Cult Beauty.

Glitter shadows and toppers are IN! I’m so glad Pixi have introduced their own version because my eyes are sensitive as anything, and the only brand that doesn’t irritate my poor eyes is Pixi! Described as an ‘ultra sparkling eyeshadow with a 3D effect’ these colours are perfect to be worn alone or as toppers. They retail at £15 each and can be purchased from Pixi, M&S and Cult Beauty.

They come with a doefoot applicator which can be used directly on the lids, and then later blended out with a brush or your finger. The eyeshadows come in 3 shades, and there is something that everyone will love. I always gravitate towards Gold and Rose Gold, and I was all over SunRay and RoseGold. BareBrilliance is a close favourite too.

The first 3 shades in my swatches above – Crystalline, SunRay and RoseGold are perfect as toppers because they are a lot sheer compared to the other 2 colours. As I mentioned earlier, these don’t irritate my eyes and this is a strong statement for me since I suffer from watery eyes 24/7. Pixi always formulates their makeup with good ingredients and the reason why these eyeshadows don’t irritate me is because they include Chamomile and Rose extracts which soothe and hydrate the eyes.

These are a winner for me because they’re so gentle and if you’re a glitter addict – you NEED these!
