Antipodes Skincare

The best part about being a blogger is having the opportunity to try so many different brands. Antipodes is one of them. I have heard of this brand before, but I’d never really tried anything from the range. They were kind enough to send me 2 products to try and I will be sharing them with you.

Juliet Brightening Cleanser

Antipodes Musings of a Makeup Junkie (3)

I love a good cleanser and it’s so important that it removes any dirt, grime, impurities and makeup! Perfect for my oily skin this gel based cleanser contains all the goodness of honey, kiwi and hibiscus. Not just any honey – manuka honey which is known for it’s medicinal purposes. I’ve been using this twice daily (morning and evening) and have noticed a change in my skin for the better. It’s really helped me with my blemishes as I’d been breaking out a lot, and I think it’s down to the fact that there’s a nice blend of essential oils and cardamon. It smells quite floral and fresh without being over powering. As always, I encourage the less is more term, and you really don’t need much on the face. A small pea sized amount does the trick.

Aura Manuka Honey Mask

Antipodes Musings of a Makeup Junkie (1)

On the theme of medicinal treatments, this Aura Manuka Honey Mask is not one to overlook if you’re on the hunt for a new one to try. This is the perfect overnight mask. It’s quite thick in texture and can be applied generously to reap the benefits. It’s helped to open up my pores and I have that real brightened feeling in the morning. This can be used 2 ways – overnight or as a 15/20 minute treatment mask. I have been using this once a week on a Sunday and leaving it on overnight. With the high blend of oils and vanilla, it makes a delicious scent coupled with the mandarin.

Antipodes is a great natural skincare line which is available to purchase at Feel Unique and Look Fantastic.
