Facial technology is a very popular trend these days, and it’s becoming well known amongst experts too. I’ve seen facial rollers all over Instagram, but I have to admit, I’ve always been a little wary about them. Nowadays, I see skincare experts using them and recommending them too, so what’s the harm in trying? I put the Sensse Facial Contour Definer to the test and here’s what I thought!
Designed to work your facial muscles to relieve tension, boost blood circulation, stimulate collagen production and activate lymphatic drainage system to detoxify the skin. Hypoallergenic roller at a 70◦ angle to perfectly fit the contour of every facial shape and features microcurves with a 360◦ rotation. Simply roll with pressure upwards from the chin to beneath the ears for five minutes a day. The result? Lifted, supple and glowing skin.
I’m at that stage in my life where I do want to look after my skin, and right now, any type of surgery or fillers is not an option for me. Purely because I am too young! Maybe in about 10 years I may consider some type of filler, but that’s a long way away yet. I do believe in ageing gracefully as much as possible. I love to try out devices which aid my anti-ageing process and the Facial Contour Definer is certainly a striking device which interested me.
This a natural way to contour and define your face without having surgery. It claims to tighten and add definition to the cheeks, jawline and any other are you wish to contour. By massaging the facial muscles with the roller, it helps to promotes blood circulation and helps stimulate collagen production to strengthen skin elasticity. Is this true? I would say yes. I have definitely noticed subtle changes to my face and over time, the more you use it, the more difference it makes.
The device is basically like a workout for your face and it’s 70 degree angle really gets into every contour of your face. It feels fresh and cooling when on. This is because it’s made from Zinc Alloy. The advantage to this is that it can be used in the shower too. This is to be used right at the end of your skincare routine. The winner for me is the ergonomic handle which gently glides across my face and jawline. I really love how it feels on my face.
Over the course of 6 weeks, I’d say that my skin feels visibly lifted and tightened – but you do need to keep in mind that I work out 5 times a week, so this also helps contribute towards it too.
