Christmas 2018 Beauty Wishlist

As the festive season approaches, my wishlist gets bigger. Black Friday may have just passed us, but I was really good. Although, there’s a lot I currently want, I am holding out for my Christmas presents.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4

There’s a lot of brands I want to try and explore more of and use and I am going to kick it off with the much sought after Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4. I own the marble palette from a few years ago, and I really want to incorporate this brand into my daily makeup routine.

The palette features 6 silky and luxurious powders, which can be used alone on layered for a totally flawless finish. It is housed in a limited edtion Pink palette and it’s the perfect cheek palette for me.

At £69, this is a pricey palette, but if you work out it’s lifetime value, that’s just £11.50 per pan and if you use it everyday, you are more than getting your value for money out of it.

Drunk Elephant The Little’s Set

Drunk Elephant is a brand I have been dying to try out. This 7 set piece includes the brand’s best sellers: Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser, Lala Retro Whipped Cream, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, C-Firma Day Serum, T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum and Shaba Complex Eye Serum.

Founded by Tiffany Masterson – she created a brand that is totally free from toxins and the ‘Suspicious 6’ (essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes and SLS) I haven’t read a single negative thing about this brand, so this is another brand I really want to try.

Huda Beauty Overachiever Concealer

I am savvy when it comes to buying into the hype now. I like to wait months after a release, and fully study the indepth reviews. This isn’t a product I was particularly excited about, but the few people I follow on Instagram fully raved about this being the best concealer they’ve ever used, and I want in! What makes it amazing is the amount of pigment that has gone into the formula and it leaves a luminous matte finish. This is exactly what my oily skin needs! There’s over 20 shades, and I want to match myself when I go to Harrods.

Bobbi Brown Highlighting and Glow Powder Duo

I’m such a sucker for packaging and this is another collectors piece I really want to own! It contains 2 highlighting shades – Highlighting Powder in Limited-Edition Shade Bare Glow and Highlighting Powder in Limited-Edition Shade Opal Glo. I’ll be honest when I say I’m not fussed what’s inside the palette. I’m more fussed about what’s outside of it. It’s basically a snowglobe in a palette and I need it! It’s SO pretty.

Lancôme – Limited Edition ‘Rose’ Powder Highlighter

The final item is yet again another highlighter, which is totally impractical. I would certainly not use this. It’s purely a collector’s piece. I think this would be rather difficult to use and you do barely get any product in the box. This is Lancome’s second Rose highligher release, after the first one sold out in a flash. It looks very festive, very pretty and perect for decoration purposes. That’s just what it is.

So, there you have it. My ever growing list. What have you got your eyes on this Christmas?
